What is facelift surgery?
This facelift procedure is designed to alleviate signs of aging on the lower face, such as deep creases in the nasolabial folds and loose jowls. Dr. Ward performs facelift surgery ("rhytidectomy") by making incisions along the natural hairline, around the earlobe, and into the crease behind the ear; doing so will allow for minimal scarring. Dr. Ward will then lift the skin and tighten the underlying facial muscles, followed by tightening the skin and trimming away any excess. You may anticipate a smoother facial appearance and a tighter jawline.
