FOREHEAD LIFT/BROWLIFT

The forehead and eyebrow region often show noticeable signs of aging. Looseness in these areas may cause drooping eyebrows, forehead furrows and frown lines. The goal of the forehead lift is to raise the eyebrows and reduce the frown lines between the eyebrows. For improvement in this area Dr. Ward performs an endoscopic procedure for browlifts. Operating on a TV screen Dr. Ward makes five tiny well hidden incisions in the hair. The forehead is raised and attached at a naturally higher location. The use of endoscopic technology has been a major advance in treating forehead surgery. This surgery is often combined with facelift surgery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you determine if I need a browlift or upper eyelid surgery?

A personal consultation with Dr. Ward is the first step to determine if you are a candidate for browlift surgery. He will advise you if you have droopy eyebrows and or excess skin in your upper eyelid fold. Sometimes the browlift and upper eyelid surgery are both necessary for improvement.

Where will the browlift surgery be performed?

Browlift surgery is performed in an outpatient facility and you go home afterwards.
