Yes. Fees for the over night stay and nursing care are quoted at the time of surgery. Dr. Ward requires patients to spend at least the first night for the best care and go home the next day.
What will I learn from the initial consultation?

He will spend about thirty to forty-five minutes with you discussing the facelift procedure and what you hope it will accomplish. He will advise you of the recovery time, risks, and review all pre and post-operative instructions. A detailed cost of the surgery fee, operating room fee, anesthesia and recovery center fee will be given to the patient.
Does the facelift/necklift include eyelid surgery?
Facelift/Necklifts are often combined with endoscopic brow lift and eyelid lift and can be performed at the same time. The fees for additional brow lift and eyelid surgery is quite reasonable when combined with the facelift surgery.
SURGICAL APPROACH
Dr. Ward prefers to perform his face-lift surgery under general anesthesia. Incisions usually begin at the hairline temple, following the natural hairline inside the ear, and curve behind the earlobe into the crease behind the ear. The underlying muscle is tightened and the skin pulled back to improve the deep cheek folds and jowls. Dr. Ward is meticulous about the scars. He makes sure that they hidden by your hair in the natural creases of your face and ears. A neck lift is performed at the same time with the neck muscle tightened by a small incision made under the chin.

SURGICAL FACILITY
Dr. Ward performs surgery at facilities certified by the State of which have a rigorous compliance to safety. These facilities are often reviewed and inspected for procedures and equipment on a monthly basis. Both facilities have a post-surgery recovery care center located onsite and are staffed by nurses to provide an excellent quality of care afterwards. Patients go home without any dressings or drains.
RECOVERY AFTER A FACELIFT
There is relatively little discomfort after the surgery. Our staff makes every effort to explain after care so that you can resume your normal activities within a week. Your stitches are removed within 6-7 days. No strenuous exercise for 3-4 weeks to maintain good results. Most patients are back to work within 5-10 days. If you need assistant our skincare specialist provides camouflage make-up. We often have out-of town patients fly and stay a week for the procedure and then return home. (See Out of Town)
EXCISION OF NASOLABIAL FOLDS
As we age the underlying tissue in the jowl area breaks down giving us a less youthful appearance. Some patients are afraid of a full Facelift and want the jowl areas redefined. Dr. Ward under local anesthesia makes an incision on both sides of the jowl and removes the extra skin in this area. Patients incur less down time and return to office for stitch removal within 6 days.
