Medical Treatments

These rejuvenating medical skincare treatments offer superficial to medium depth exfoliation with mild flaking or peeling:

Dermaplaning Exfoliation - Performed only in a medical practice consists of a scraping of the surface of the facial skin that removes dead cells and vellus hair. Normally combined with an enzyme exfoliation treatment.

AFA Antioxidant Facial Peels - 
AFAs are amino acids that can dramatically reduce the appearance of fine lines and photopigmentation. AFA facial peels consist of concentrations of AFA (20% to 60%) done on a bi-weekly basis for 6 weeks, followed by a simple morning and evening skin care product line program.

Palomar Starlux Pulsed Light Hair Removal System and Photofacial Therapy

The Palomar pulsed light system uses a new technology that removes unwanted hair up to 10 times faster than lasers. The light systems work by emitting pulses of intense lamplight into the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles and converted to heat. The heat then loosens the hair and disables the cells responsible for growing new hair.

The Palomar Starlux is the latest technology in IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy. The photofacial uses heat and light to absorb pigment and eliminate blood vessels, while using an internal cooling system to provide safety for the skin without discomfort for the client. The photofacial can painlessly treat the face or body.
